About Lead the Change
The Name.
At a Tennessee Association of Student Councils (TASC) executive meeting, the student board decided that the theme of our year is “Lead the Change”. This means that in light of cancelled/digital events, the struggle to maintain school climates, and other unforeseen challenges, we are committed to using are platforms as student leaders to push for positive change in our schools and communities. Our desire is that this mindset is evident throughout student leadership organizations.
The Aim.
Our goal is to create a resource in which student leaders are able to voice their ideas and learn from others. Through blog-style posts, "Lead the Change” provides users with ideas on how others were able to both reimagine their past activities and events and be innovative in creating new ones. No one has all the answers regard what student council will look like this upcoming year, but we can share our ideas in hopes that it opens someone else’s mind to all of the possibilities.
